Sends quotes (Proforma invoices) to customers and when accepted places the order for products with production.
Follow up with Production to ensure products are ready in time as per commitment list on the Prodcution Plan.
Arranges with the Credit Controller for CGIC cover if necessary, checks Letters of Credit and requests amendments with customer if necessary.
Arrange with Purchasing for buy-outs.
Arranges with Logistics for the packing of consignments, books transport for the delivery of orders and arranges the packing and airfreighting of samples. Prepare despatch notes for deliveries.
Invoices customers, completes the relevant documentation including Hazardous Chemical Declarations, negotiates and completes any and all documentation required by the Letter of Credit through the applicable financial institution.
Arranges for correct documentation through the various embassies and arranges pre-shipment inspections according to the import country regulations.
Register BSC shipments on the system for certain countires. Prepare SADC Certificates for certain countries.
Assists with costings and export rebates, general admin duties in logistics , forecasting.
Follow up with Quality Complaints ensuring it is chanelled and solved correctly.
Assists with perpetual and quarterly stock counts as necessary.
Qualification and Requirements
4 Years experience
General Office administration with regular use of personal computers.
