Duties/ Requirements/ Qualifications

  • National diploma or degree in clothing production or bachelor of consumer science alternatively a national diploma in textiles
  • Planning of raw materials for a clothing manufacturing company
  • To plan the strategy of insuring correct stock levels of fabric and trims as well as finished garments at all times
  • Handle communications between manufacturing plant and suppliers of raw material
  • Ensure the delivery and logistics of orders are well planned (Managing Shipping)
  • Monitoring of warehouse
  • Ensuring best products at the best prices are purchased
  • Liaising and planning CMT outwork
  • Develop good business partnerships with suppliers and manufacturers
